Starbuck Recreation!! Pumpkin Spice Latte

Sssooo who doesnt love the Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks?......But who hate the price tags?
Well I dont even live near a Starbucks and I hate to pay 5 dollars per cup so being the creative type I decided that I was going to make my own!

Ok So here is my recipe
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar ( more or less depending on how sweet)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice OR 1/4 teaspoon each ginger nutmag and clove
  • Strong brew coffee or espresso about 5 cups but more or less depending on how much you want  it to taste like coffee

Now that we have all our ingredients together lets get started. First you need a sauce pan, a measuring cup, a spoon and a whisk or large spoon. first pour your milk in the pan and turn heat on to a medium level then measure out your pumpkin once milk has steam rising off it add the pumpkin and stir stir stir! once all mix add in your spices and stir again let it cook until you see tiny bubbles once you see them tiny little bubbles its time to add your

caramel sauce and sugar the stir again. now add your coffee add as much or as little as you want depending on your taste. then turn off heat and let cool, once cool pour into a container with a lid and put in the fridge let set overnight and in the morning strain all the little particals from the pumpkin puree and either enjoy cold or hot! its really taste so I hope you all enjoy it :D for full instuctions watch my video on youtube :)!

Pumpkin Face mask

So its fall and what better way to celebrate than with a pumpkin face mask! Now I Have A TON of DIY "recipes" if you will and I thought I would share them with you. I am new to this whole blogging thing and have never been one for writing ......or spelling for that matter so bare with me as I do this haha :)

Pumpkin Face mask Recipe
1/2 cup pumpkin ( make sure its not pumpkin pie filling you don't want the added sugars)
1 teaspoon honey
1 small egg
For oily skin add 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
for dry to combination skin add 1 teaspoon almond milk

The reason why I love the mask so much is because it is moisturizing and as we all know fall and winter can be a very drying time of year!!

add your ingredients all in a bowl and mix, mix, mix....... until........

you get this!

It should be a nice smooth consistency. The way i like to apply this is with a foundation brush or a cosmetic sponge. Let this set on your face for about 15 to 20 minutes then rinse with warm water and moisturize as normal! I hope you all enjoy this and let me know if you want more DIY videos I have a ton!!
The Benefits of the mask
1. pumpkin is rich in antioxidants and natural exfoliating acids
2. the egg will help to brighten and tighten the skin
3.honey has natural anti microbial properties
4. honey also helps fight against damage cause by UV rays
5. honey also helps retain water in the skin aiding the pumpkin in the moisturizing
6. too many more too list!!! i seriously could go on for days why this is so beneficial!
Have a beautiful day <3
